Rapid Help for Lost and Displaced Pets
When a pet goes missing, time matters. Pet Search Alliance provides fast, organized, and technology-driven support to help families bring their pets home. Our team uses thermal drones, cellular trail cameras, advanced trapping systems, and coordinated social outreach to find lost pets quickly and safely. We also assist with select livestock cases when circumstances require specialized search support or equipment.
How PSA Helps
1. Fast Intake and Case Activation
Our Request for Help form is fast, simple, and designed for stressful moments when you need help now. Once you submit it, our team gets an immediate alert and your case enters our queue within seconds. From there, we begin gathering the details needed to guide the search.
We verify the information, prepare a clean social post, assemble a QR-coded page if needed, and start watching for early leads. This first step triggers the entire PSA workflow so you don’t feel like you’re going through this alone.
Submitting the form is the quickest way to activate your case and get support moving.
2. Targeted Social Media Outreach
Once your case is active, we prepare a clean, verified social media post that is designed to reach the right people quickly. Every detail is checked for accuracy before it goes live so the community sees clear information without confusion or contradictions.
After the post is published, our team actively monitors all incoming comments, messages, and shared sightings. We track every lead, no matter how small, and we filter out the noise — including scams, misinformation, and false claims that can waste your time or give you false hope. This constant monitoring helps us confirm real activity, guide field operations, and keep you updated with reliable information as your case develops.
Our social media support is one of the fastest ways to alert the community and start generating trustworthy tips.
3. Custom Pet Landing Page and Printable Flyers
For pets missing more than a short window of time, we can quickly build a dedicated landing page that houses all the critical information in one place. This page becomes the central hub for updates, sightings, photos, maps, and case details, and it can be shared instantly with family, neighbors, and local groups. Every landing page includes a built-in QR code so people can report sightings or leads without needing social media.
We also generate clean, print-ready flyers that you can take to Walmart, UPS Store, local bulletin boards, or hand out in your neighborhood. These flyers are designed for fast visibility and include the same QR code for immediate reporting. Not everyone is on Facebook or familiar with digital tools, so having both online and printable options ensures the widest possible reach across the community.
This combination of a custom landing page and professional-grade flyers helps keep your pet’s information organized, accessible, and easy for others to share.
4. Field Operations and Technology Deployment
Every case is different, and PSA adapts each response for speed, efficiency, and the behavior of the animal. Thermal drones allow us to scan large or difficult terrain in minutes. In one recent case, a missing pug was located in under two minutes using thermal imaging.
But drones are only part of our toolkit. Depending on the situation, we may deploy:
Thermal drones for rapid search
Small, medium, and large traps
Feed stations monitored by Vosker cellular trail cameras
Our Starlink-enabled Missy Trap with multiple cameras and a remote trigger
Coordinated searches with homeowners and neighbors
Select livestock monitoring setups when needed
We also use adaptive AI to track leads, filter out false information, and speed up decision-making during active searches, giving us a clearer view of real movement and patterns.
Our partnership with Vosker provides reliable monitoring even in low-signal areas. Learn more at vosker.com.
Each case is evaluated based on risk, terrain, weather, and behavior so we can bring pets home using the right tools at the right time.
When a pet goes missing, families often become targets. Scammers watch public posts and jump in quickly with fake sightings, false claims, and pressure tactics designed to take advantage of worried owners. These messages can look convincing, and they often create confusion, false hope, or unnecessary panic.
PSA shields owners from this by controlling what information is released publicly and by monitoring all incoming comments, messages, and sightings. We verify leads before they reach you, filter out the scams, and block the fake accounts that commonly prey on missing pet posts. The screenshots shown above are real examples of the kind of messages families receive every day if they post alone.
Our system helps keep your case focused on real, credible information so you’re not chasing misleading tips or talking to anyone with bad intentions. You get the facts, not the noise, and your time and emotions stay protected.

6. Dedicated Tip Reporting System
Instead of a traditional phone tip line, PSA operates a fast, anonymous online form where anyone can report sightings, photos, videos, or information related to your missing pet. This system prevents misinformation from spreading through comments and private messages, and it keeps all leads flowing into one secure, trackable place.
Each tip is time-stamped, logged, and reviewed by our team so we can verify the details before taking action. This helps eliminate guesswork and ensures we focus on credible sightings instead of rumors or unconfirmed claims. The online form also allows neighbors, drivers, delivery workers, and local residents to submit information quickly without having to call, text, or identify themselves publicly.
By using this system, families get cleaner information, faster responses, and a more organized flow of leads that can be mapped and acted on immediately.
PSA operates the region’s first satellite-enabled Missy Trap, powered by Starlink and built specifically for the most difficult, skittish, or trap-shy cases. Unlike a standard box trap, this system uses multiple camera angles, remote lighting, two-way audio, and a fully remote-controlled trigger. That means we only close the door when the right animal is inside, preventing unwanted wildlife captures and saving hours of reset time.
The Starlink connection gives us a live feed even in low-signal areas, allowing our team to monitor movement, confirm behavior, and coordinate arrival in real time. This trap has proven extremely effective for dogs that avoid traditional setups and has become one of the most valuable tools in our field operations.

Why Families Trust PSA
Many of us at PSA have lost pets ourselves. We understand how overwhelming it is and built this organization to respond quickly, compassionately, and effectively. What Does It Cost? Most PSA cases are supported entirely by donations. We never withhold help due to cost. Donations sustain Starlink service, fuel, gear maintenance, camera data plans, and essential trapping supplies. Expanding for Local Readiness Our next goal is to build a second hook and go trailer so both counties have their own rapid-deployment unit. Start a Case Now If your pet is missing, submit a Request for Help. It takes only a minute, and our team is alerted instantly
